Manuel Saiz (Spain)

Manuel Saiz started working with paintings, sculptures, photography and installations in the 1980’s. In 1989 he represented Spain at the Sao Paulo Biennale. Since 1995 he works mainly in video art and media installations. His works have been shown at Intercommunication Center (Tokyo), Transmediale (Berlin), Whitechapel Gallery and ICA (London), or Museo Reina Sofía (Madrid), among other international venues. He has curated artist projects such as Art Summer University (Tate Modern, London) or 25hrs (Barcelona) involving internationally known media artists. He has published several art books.
